Augmented Reality Exhibition

The art world is a hard world to break into. Galleries don’t want to do business with you unless you are a known artist/photographer, and renting a space for an exhibition can get pricey. So how do you get your name out there? I think I might have found a cheap and fun way to do an exhibition using an augmented reality app called Mirage. It is similar to Pokémon Go, but with art and/or photography. To the brick and mortar galleries, Adam Savage said it best when he said “I reject your reality and substitute my own”. To see the rest of the exhibition, check out the patio at the Cumberland Mountain State Park Restaurant in Crossville,Tennessee.

I’m always asked where my travel photos are taken, and that gave me an idea to create a virtual reality YouTube channel so that I can not only share my photos, but also my experience being there (you need the YouTube app to get the full effect).
